I am 37 yr. Old married since 7 yrs, My medical reports
are normal. My wife's reports are also normal, I was drinking
a lot , I have stopped drinking since last 2 yrs. Still
we don't have a child, can you help me?

Yes, we can surely help you, please have a Semen Analysis
report done, and enter the details in the MyOffshoreMD
replies section. Please specify if you have undergone
any operations earlier in your Medical Profile.
It is preferable that you time your relations between
you and your wife for the period between the 12th to 17th
days from the Menstrual period. You can have sex on 12,
14, 16, 18th day of the cycle. Have sex early in the morning;
at that time hormone level in males are higher. After
intercourse it is advisable that your wife does not get
up for 15 minutes, so the sperms can move Upwards faster
in good quantity. Regarding medication, I can prescribe
only after a thorough analysis of your reports.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for
the last ten months and nothing has happened. What would
you suggest?
MD's Reply:
Please get a Semen Analysis done for your husband. It
is a simple non invasive test.
For yourself, maintain a temperature chart. The day you
ovulate - there will be a rise of 1/2-1degree Celsius
in your body temperature rise. On that day and the day
after - for 2 days, please have intercourse. If you don't
conceive within 3 months then get your X-ray studies -
Salpingogram done (HSg -Hysterosalpigogram) which will
show any anatomical defect and sonography for 10 -15 days.
If you don't ovulate then start taking prescription of
tablets Clomiphene 50mg BD (twice a day) for the 5th to
15th Day for 2 cycles.
